Hi, I have a 2009 Vstrom 650. Am going to be changing the tires this weekend but don't have a manual yet. Was hoping someone could let me know the torque specs I will need for the job:

- Front Axle
- Front Fork pinch Bolts
- Front Caliper Bolts
- Rear Axle
- Rear Caliper Bolts

- Front Axle 47lb-ft
- Front Fork pinch Bolts 16.5lb-ft
- Front Caliper Bolts 28lb-ft
- Rear Caliper Bolts 16lb-ft on the rear 19.5lb-ft on the front.

The book says 72.5lb-ft on the rear axle but there have been problems with galling, especially on earlier bikes. What has worked every time and prevented problems is to apply anti seize to the threads and torque to 58lb-ft to account for the lubrication effect of the anti seize.
