It's me, it's me it's Eddie. First year on V. 14 K. No problems as of yet, other than dying at stop signs, probably gonna try to raise the idle a tad to see if that helps. May be let the stealership have a crack at it at valve check. Also went to the Conti Road Attack. Lots smoother and responsive. Darn I love this bike:p

I've had mine for almost two years and I've only got 8300 so far. I haven't had any issues, but I will need a new rear tire pretty soon.

14K is a good start. Do get the valve clearances checked. The poll at http://www.stromtrooper.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43389 indicates the great majority of DL1000s need an adjustment at first check as do almost half of DL650s. Raising the idle of a DL1000 to the book minimum 1100-1200rpm is a typical cure for stalling at idle.
