This guy did a very informative thread in the Gen board on LEDs for blinkers, but I could not extract the data I was looking for there vs the 2014+ DL1000.

Has anyone done any drop-in 1156 or 1157 LED's in our bikes, and if so did it require a resistor?

For turn signals, an LED-compatible flasher relay (like the one mentioned in this post) generally is a better option than resistors.

I'm looking for the same thing for headlights. I just want to get the color temperature to match my mondomotos.
I read here somewhere a rider posting pics and links to plug and play bulbs that had the same color temp as LEDs. They were super cheap, and he even included the running light/marker bulb.
I've searched everywhere. Anyone remember it?
