I have read what I could find ( thanks to all of you ) and I have jumped the wires and turned on the key but it only reads " check ". No codes or dash marks. Am I doing something wrong? Does the bike have to be running? Is there and order that I should go in ? TPS - TBS - Secondaries ???? Thanks again

CHEC usually indicates the kill switch not in the run position or the side stand down with the bike in gear.

do you know if the stock centerstand has a kill switch like the sidestand has?
