Dies at idle

Greetings, having an issue with a 2009 DL1000. Mileage is ~31K
It has recently begun dying when returning to idle. A little blip of the throttle has kept is from dying while riding. Now it is also dying at idle and the idle speed has dropped. I have increased the idle to ~1200 rpm as per the tach. Please note that observing the tach as the rpms drop shows a smooth decrease till about 1400 than a rapid increase in the rate of drop. Sometimes the bike will recover from about 800 rpm other times it will die. The motor has also seemed to become more jumpy/jerky at lower rpm less than 4K) I know everyone says keep rpm up. But there are times when riding slow (school zones, construction zones, residential areas) where is would be impractical to run 4K+ rpm. Plus this is something that has changed and not the way the motor used to run.
Running other than this is great, plenty of power, mileage as normal, no temp issues etc.

Things I have done.
Increase idle speed which is not really solving the problem, only masking whatever is the real issue.
I show no codes when going into dealer mode
Adjusted the TPS so the change from center to up is ~2200 rpm. ( it was in the 2600 rpm range before)Please note that when making even small adjustments to the TPS with bike running it will cause stumbling and if I move it more than the smallest amount the motor will die.
I currently have the air box out and checked for any obvious vacuum leaks, disconnected hoses, wires. This includes the throttle bodies into the manifolds.
Any ideas. I am hesitant to replace TPS as mileage seems low and the fact I am seeing big changes when adjusting would seem to indicate it is sending signals to the ECM. But I could be wrong and probably am. I hate to just start replacing items without some pretty strong indication that they are back.
Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks, Jim

Hey man just had an issue similar to yours not an hour ago! See my thread for details, but the way I fixed the issue on mine was cleaning out the front cylinder/spark plug area with through the little drain hole on the right hand side of the engine (I have an '04 DL650 so not sure if it's the same on yours). I used a small metal wire but a pipe cleaner would be ideal since you can feed it through and pull it out the top.

My plug and drain hole were filthy. A few remove, clean, install, crank cycles and she runs like before.

If that doesn't do it check electrical connections and fuel pump/filter.
