does anyone know the male conector type

to hook up to the grip heater accessory plug? I would like to use it, but don't wish to wait for the Eastern Beaver part
(I guess I could stick some tinned wire in and tape it of I need- just need the + for relay trigger)

Valkyrie 2000 x '03 750lbs + Farkles
DL650 2004 x 2011 approaching Valk in weight with all the "improvements"

Reciproca non est verum (Frank and Ernie 2013)
(I think, therefore I am. The reverse is not true)

The part can be ordered for the dealer?
I wish there was an after market source, like radio shack, that had them too.

I got the part from the dealer for $9. Plus about 75 cents for some connectors.
Easy and convenient if that is the only electrical accessory you are planning on (as in my case).
I believe it is WIRE HORN LEAD part number 36852-06G00.

The heated grip set I bought was from KTM, I think for ATVs.
It has the usual high-off-low postion switch.
I needed 3 blade type connectors (female side) plus the clear rubber boots to go to the back of the switch.
The kind of usual misc low voltage electrical stuff most folks have lying around.
Also used a multi-tester to confirm the hot lead after I plugged in the new horn lead.
Painless install.
Good luck!

ahhh- I got you now, thanks

I will be all set when I get the connector (local Suzuki dealrer has one),
I should probably have been patient and ordered from Eastern Beaver (despite the name being vaguely asian porn sounding- wonder what my NET snoops think when I log on there !)

Garage
Eastern- Jim Davis, the proprietor, is presently located in Japan.
Beaver- He's a Canadian ex-patriot.

The beaver attained official status as an emblem of Canada when an "act to provide for the recognition of the beaver (castor canadensis) as a symbol of the sovereignty of Canada" received royal assent on March 24, 1975.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

Hey ...

I just noticed we are neighbors.
I'm in Hansville.
Not sure where on the OlyPen you are located, but I'd be glad to help with the install if you'd like.
With one person, it takes about 90 minutes. Two people should cut the time down to about 3 hours ...

As I expected (and a great little company)

I mentioned for humor, and I noted my ISP can track the websites I browse (and we are a small town ). I imagine he must get some hits from folks non-electrical component searches.

We have a town of Beaver , next to Sapho (sic), who wrote the story of the greek Island of Lesbos. Sometimes my mind wonders
