Garmin and Mac

I have a Garmin 376c and have been using it with a PC notebook. I am considering getting MacAir to replace the PC. I went to the Apple store and asked about transfering maps etc and I just a bovine look from the youngster working there. i have contacted Garmin 3 times and have not yet received a yea or na to my question. The MacAir does not have a CD drive so I cannot load my maps directly from disc, can I transfer from PC to the Mac Air? Thanks
P.s. these are tough times for a Luddite.

This should help you. --> http://www8.garmin.com/manuals/MapSo...cComputers.pdf

Also no need for a CD drive you could always use a USB drive to transfer anything if needed.
