AutoCom - Active 7 Smart - 7 pin

Hi

Can you still get cables and such for this unit?

a bit of searching has lead me to believe this company may or may not have died. I have found a deal on one, but looking at autocomm Americas website it is unclear if I will be able to get cables for my gear.

thanks

I'm real dissapointed at the turn of events with Autocom. I need repairs and cables. prolly end up replacing it with a Starcom unit

heres a reply from the UK i got. it might be worth contacting them and see if they can help.

Thank you for your mail.

The Active 7 Smart is an older unit 2002 to 2005 (minimum of 7 years old)

However our latest Bluetooth dongle BTM-02A will operate with it fine and
talk to your smart-phone. You will need a cable for your radio and possible
a Push to talk switch.

The Kenwood radio cable will be suitable for all Kenwood portable radios,
although other manufacturers often change connection between models so no
cable is common.

It would be best to let us know which radios you intend to buy so we can
confirm we have suitable cables.

Regards
