EB installation + datel volt meter

Finally got everything installed, figured i'd share how it went

Eastern Beaver box :

I first connected everything and tested a few times.

My original plan was to put the box in the tray, but I decided I could make better use of that space for more practical things, so I mounted the fuse box on the right hand side of the bike

I used 3M Dual Lock velcro to do this. I figure I didnt want to drill the plastic. By using a removable medium, It makes it easier to remove down the road

my next step was to install my Datel volt meter and my Garmin 60csx GPS unit. I wanted to make sure the cable ran cleanly

here, I drilled a small hole in the fairing to pass my datel cables

I then ran the cables as cleanly as i could

and finally, everything running properly!

It's nice to see you got things working.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

How is the meter attached to the shelf? Velcro?

I found the first piece from a local marina. But it was pretty expensive.

I then found some rolls of it on Ebay for a lot cheaper. I ordered 4 yards of 1inch strip for about 30$

doesn`t seem like it, at least in Ontario. I`ve never seen it in store and the website makes no mention of it.
