whats wrong with my setup?

i finally got my EB relay box installed nice and clean.

I have a gps on the one of the switched circuits with a 5 amp fuse. I start up the bike but the GPS wont fire up. I tried it on an unswitched circuit and its working fine.

not sure where to start troubleshooting. I dont have my multimeter with me.

If it is the only device on the switched side, make sure the relay is working and is wired correctly. How is the trigger wire (blue in diagram) connected to the bike?

thanks again for the help Pat.

i'm assuming the relay is properly wired (directly from EB). Am I wrong in assuming this?

I don't know what you got. Did you get this V-Strom specific relay kit? If so, did you get the switching lead connectors on the upper left hooked up okay? Was the ignition on when you tried the GPS on the switched side?

The switching lead connects in between the connectors going to the rear brake switch. You separate the stock connector into two parts and those two parts connect to the two ends of the switching lead.

Does your rear brake light still work?

It will make no difference. Get somebody to help you on site. You don't have a feel for this and trying to help from afar is starting to drive me batty.
