small LED volt meter

Since the electrical system seems to be the weak spot on the V-Strom (DL1000) = Does anyone know where I can find a small, cheap, LED volt meter that will fit under my radar shelf?
There's some on ebay (12 to 15 bucks) but they don't give the size and the seller isn't forth coming.
Thanks, DeOldfart

Volt Meter

Here's my volt meter I just mounted 2 days ago, the same model is on my wifes Versys.

I tried it below the shelf, didn't like it there, really couldn't see my highbeam indicator, or neutral

A litle drilling, remounting the 'L' bracket to the top

Search for the Kuryakyn one.

Small, around $30.00 and works well.

Yes, it comes in black as well as the chrome.

Keep water out of the 5 function meter Andreas. It isn't exactly waterproof. I have mine tucked away under the instrument panel and that's worked pretty well.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

I have aa Escort Pasport radar detecor that has digital Votage read out. Nice bright red numbers and also if it drops below a certain level gives audible signal. Mounted detector on shelf. Worked well on godlWing, Buell and now Wee.

I knew the unit wasn't very water proof. Mainly designed for use inside a vehicle. I'll look at the bike to see how you mounted yours in that spot.
The one on my wifes Versys is not as exposed, I have hers attached to the shield bracket. I am still looking for a clear plastic pill box style container
