TomTom Rider 2 and Maps

How do you get the most current maps to your GPS? When I go to Update my Rider, does that do it? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

So I paid my $60 dollars and got the new maps. Went to install them and it was 2gb and my card was only 1 gb. Bought new card but can’t get it to connect to computer with new card in it. I follow the instructions, it tells me to connect GPS without card in it, but nothing happens when I do this. Has anyone done this before?

When you connect to TT HOME, and click on update, you will recieve MapShare updates and any TT application version updates. It does not give you a new map, only owner and TT changes.

Make sure your new card is an SD, not an SDHC.

Make sure you have the latest version of HOME, and latest application version.

For further assistance go to:

TomTomForums.com - TomTom, GPS Navigation Community>

There is a specific section for the Rider. I have the same user name as on this forum.

I have had a TTR2 for several years, and it has worked very well for me.

Cheers!
