Rostra CC chain Slack

I FINALLY got my Rostra Cruise installed on my 09 ABS Wee and it works (thanks to all of the great info from this forum) but the idle is at 2000 plus RPM. I used the photos that were in several different threads to try to gauge slack of the beads. It looked like there was not much slack. Also, resume is abrupt and it drops speed on resume after getting up to the setting. Any ideas on how many beads to add or other adjustments to make. I used the dipswitch settings from Basso posted on 8/4/08. FYI, my engage light works. From the way I wired the cruise (Larolco Instructionsa) I was sure that it would not.

Very little slack is needed. Check that the linkage is not hitting anything or sticking.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s
