How many devices can the BlueAnt recognise?
I would re set it to factory default and pair it with the Garmin first (make sure Bluetooth on the phone is turned off or it out of range) and see what happens.
Does the Garmon have one or two channels? If it only has one (I suspect that it will) you may have to choose between the Garmin or the phone but not both.
The BlueAnt handles up to five separate connections.
No idea what the Garmin does/has.
The instruction book is about as thick as a piece of toilet paper and has about as much written on it.
I'm guessing it only has one channel.
I tried connecting as per the Garmin instructions with all other BT devices turned off.
The Garmin didn't find anything to connect to even though the helmet head set was on and in pairing mode only a few inches away.
I then turned the Blackberry on and connected the GPS to the phone first go.
Wasted my dollars if I can't get it to talk to my helmet
The GPS is visible in most daylight conditions but no good if the sun gets too direct on it [naturally].
As it is not waterproof I put it in the box I made [as per my other thread] but through the plastic lid it is not all that visible.
The bluetooth capability was to be the backup for when the screen is not visible
On the plus side for the Garmin, the standard windscreen suction mount sticks to the perspex screen on the Wee like glue
[near the edge of the screen, not in the middle].
I will still get a better ram mount or may have to resort to an AquaBox, just to make sure I don't lose the GPS.
