I have the J&M BT system as well, in a Nolan flip-face helmet, with the only difference being that mine is an N-102 NCom. However I believe speaker install would be the same. I used a dremmel tool and just removed a layer, maybe 1/4" or so and then used the supplied sticky-backed velcro to attach. I have been using this system for over 2 years without issue and have not had any issues, fit or function.
As an aside, I also found that I needed to create a little "slot" in the chin bar to keep the mike from rubbing my face at times. I used the same tool to create a notch in the middle of the chin bar. Once I close the helmet I just reach inside the face shield opening and "click" the mike into place. It comes free cleanly on it's own when I open the helmet. Though I don't like to use the phone when riding (I use it mostly for music), on several occasions I have had callers unable to believe I was on the bike, at highway speeds, as the sound was perfectly normal without any excessive background noise.
Hope this is helpful and good luck! GLM
