LED

Is it possible to wire a supplimental LED brake light bar into the existing brake light wire? Does it require more electronics than that?

Yes. http://admorelighting.com/index.php?....php&subpage=4

The hookup requires using the Posi-Lock and Posi-Tap connectors that come with the kit to splice into the brake light wiring. However, you can also get a kit from Eastern Beaver to help you with that: http://easternbeaver.com/Main/Bike_S...raketailsignal

sure is. Just splice or connect the aux wire to the existing brake wire.

That's how I connected the LED brake light on the Kappa top box.

If your LED light is just a supplemental light, there's no need of using diodes or anything like that. Depending on your LED light setup, you might need to connect the + to + and - to - , otherwise it wouldn't work. Some LED light setups have some more electronics involved inside, and It wouldn't matter if you mix the wires, it would still work. But, maybe that's too much info already!

Thanks

Thanks for the replies. I was just about to order a led light bar to mount in addition to the factory brake light, when I read. (Logic circuit required) sold separately.
