Garmin GPSmap 60

My wife had this for hiking/Geocashing and it just sits around the house. Can this work on the v? Does anyone else use this?

Yes, you can use it.

I use a garmin 60Cx for my Strom. I power it through a cigarette lighter socket and mount it using a ram Mount.

My bike has about 75,000 km on it, much of it with the 60Cx attached.

Works fine

You can certainly use it. I use a Zumo and a GPSMap 60 simultaneously.
You may want to load some better maps than the stock base map.

Simultaneously as in both on the Strom at the same time? What do you do when they disagree?

Talking

I too use the Zumo and 60c, the 60c goes on the bike when I want to add my Topo Maps (easier to deal with) when I go off roading, like tomorrow.

They seem to get along fine...I'll set the Zumo to 200m and the 60 to 2 or 3 k. This way I can see what's around the corner and what's coming up later. Useful, especially off road at higher speeds.

I've been using a 60Cx for years; works great as long as you have updated maps. I use the RAM mounts 11M and 9M under the mirrors, and the 60 cradle - places them perfectly for me.
