I have the Sena 10r and I wish I had not bought it. It had scant instructions and was hard to install in my Shoei helmet. The software installation/update was equally frustrating and I don't find their software all that functional or user-friendly. The earphones lacked volume and I had to switch to earbuds to get decent sound. Then after 6 months, one channel just quit. Then it took me 6 months of frustrating back and forth with Sena "customer service" to get them to honor the warranty. I will never buy from Sena again.
If you can return them, I would. You may save yourself some heartache later on. If you decide to keep them, I would go with the boom mike instead of helmet mounted mike and read the manual in detail. Some of the Sena models have features like mike gain, VOX and noise cancelling, but I don't know about yours.
