bluetooth earbud recommendations

I'm looking for a good set of wireless bluetooth earbuds with a noise-cancelling mic for answering the phone, that won't break the bank. Do they exist? I must admit, I often wear no helmet, so the noise-cancelling feature is important. If you have a recommendation for the headphones I appreciate it, but if you feel the need to preach about ATGATT, church starts 10:00 Sunday morning.

I don't think I have ever come across a Bluetooth headset that would perform noise cancelling sufficient to compensate for road noise at speed without a helmet.

I'm not going to go get all ATGATT about this either, the bigger issue is that you're already at risk of the dumbassery of others when on a bike, being on a cell phone, even hands free, poses risks of reduced reaction time and awareness. If you really need to take the call, pull over.

Wife and I finally used our pair of Sena SMH10s this past wknd to/from the Leesburg Bikefest. We have Shoei full face helmets and a Madstad large windshield. The wind noise thru the Senas was pretty bad. Doubt it would be as bad on my GoldWing (much larger fairing and windshield, but as for the Strom, it will take some getting used to. I also will do more tinkering with the Sena settings.

As of right now, I am not happy with the headsets.

I don't know if they have noise cancelling technology, but if you aren't wearing a helmet, sena makes the SPH10 headset.

I am using chepo($20) ones off Amazon right now. The music quality is acceptable, but the noise cancelling is almost non existent. So I have been doing some google digging recently. The best in ear noise cancelling right now seems to be the wired Bose QC20 for $200+. But I hate wires, so the next best is the Bose QC30 which is bluetooth in ear and the cheapest I have found them is $250 shipped.

I know it's a lot of money, but I have tinnitus and I love music, so having something that I can turn the volume down and still hear is more important than the $. The benefit of the QC20 and 30 is that when you turn the music off & leave the headset on, it still does it's noise cancelling thing.....quiet quiet. There is a guy on ADV that has been using them 6 months and loves them, so I think I am going to take the plunge.

You know those have a neckband - right?
I've not had anyluck with that style + helmet - if the OP ever decided to wear one.
Second is the reports all say that they don't sound all that good.
For a $250+ headset that was the deal breaker for me. If it doesn't sound good, what's the point?

I have been running bluetooth neckband style now for 3 years. Yes, I read the reviews, some raved others hated 'em. It's too bad they don't have the reviews of the QC20's or I would already have pulled the trigger.
