Question about EB products, factory heated grip connector

Hello all,

I've been reading a lot about farkling my new (to me- 09 wee) bike out and I've already got crash bars/skid plate, and a simple volt meter. Was planning on adding a EB H4 headlight relay kit with the single light cut off, the 3CS fuse box (for the relay kit, heated grips most likely the heat demons, and auxiliary lights). I've also read about the switched factory heated grip connector by the radiator. I am no pro with wiring I am more of a mechanical guy. Could I just get the wiring kit for $13 from the heated grip connector that has the two leads, and run that line directly to a cheap USB charger off Amazon? Or use this connection to run my heated grips? Anything else needed or a better way to do it? I'd hate to waste this connector as I'd be limited with the 3CS fuse box. Thanks in advance!

You can get a switched power supply by piggybacking off the horn, it's OK for small loads or to power a relay.
