Extra front turn signals

I'm trying to wire in an extra set of turn signals to the front of my Vee. However, I can't seem to find out which wire in the Vee harness is hot and which is ground. I have one wire that is black/white stripe and one wire that is green. Anybody know? Also, where can I find a wiring diagram for an '05 Vee?

If you are keeping your original turn signals, why not just "patch" the wires from the new signals to the OEM signals via bullet connectors?

Ground is always Black/White. Hot is light green or black depending on the side.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

Are extra turn signals legal where you live?

That's what I'm doing (mirror mounted).

Hmmm... I hope so! I believe they are - at least I am allowed to have additional signals on my work truck, so long as they are amber and in sequence with the factory signal. If not, I'll change the lenses and use them as runners.
