Interphone F5MC Bluetooth Helmet Comms

Haven't been able to find any info on these specific units on the Stromtrooper forums, yet they seem to rate well on other interweb reviews when compared with the Sena 20S.

While I'm seeing plenty of support for Sena BT systems, and there's plenty of opinion relating to just about every other BT device, I'm really seeking any feedback relevant to this one.
I'm considering the dual pack which retail around(an expensive) $599 AUD., yet are cheaper than the equiv Sena20s dual pack.

Anyone out there laid out the coin for the Interphone F5MC and if you have...howzitgoin?

I have no experience of BT helmet units since giving up on a pair of BlueAnt ones some years back.... but got this from a google search of the topic threads for ADVrider (a good resource for any kind of motorcycle queries).

Thanks for that. Yes I'd seen this ADV thread (and it was positive), but was simply seeking any other views. I think I'll be going down the Interphone path regardless. Particularly like the option for voice prompts. Have had Scala systems in the past but found them a little average.

Was in my local Aldi this afternoon, they still have one of the Cocoon Bluetooth units in stock.. left over from the motorcycle gear sale, also some jackets, pants, leather jackets and armoured jeans too.

Got the F5MC. Local bike shop gave a good discount so pulled the trigger. Installed easily in my helmet (Shark) and my wife's (Arai). Fit and comfort good and speakers sit neatly just under the liner fabric and are slightly flexible -unlike my previous Scala set which were a tad bulky, hard and a real pain in the ears after an hour or so.

Impressed with ease of pairing with phone and GPS and the general ease of setup, the voice prompt menus make things simple on the go (ie no need for a manual, and I haven't needed one to get things sorted so far), the intercom clarity is great, noise cancelling works a treat as does the built in FM radio...

Paired with my Zumo 660 no probs (some reviews claimed problems with Interphone and Garmin) access the music library from the phone via voice etc and it speaks incoming numbers, or if in the phones directory, provides the name so can reject easily.

Sound quality for music is surprisingly good. My old Scala system was awful (tinny squeaky squawk box sound). To be fair tho, my last BT system was around 6 years ago. Things have obviously moved along. No regrets with this system.

Interphone F5MC

I've got the Interphone F5MC. It is really great. I have used it daily for my home-work commute for the last 3 months and the battery lasts for a whole week. When you talk on the phone people are always amazed you are riding - the noise cancelling technology is so good.
The intercom feature is brilliant - sound quality is great. Only tip from me would be to turn the auto volume feature off - otherwise you can't turn it up loud enough to hear your music/phone.

Just bought an Interphone F3MC - great toy. Really good clear, works very well with my Iphone 5 and streams music and my Iphone maps directions and phone calls etc. Not that I like taking phone calls on the bike but good to know you can. Got it 20% at the Brisbane Motorcycles sale. Ended up at about $140.
