GPS Mount Offer

I am teaching myself to weld- small mig no-gas, yet. I built a very sturdy platform for mounting a GPS (or anything really). See links below.

Fits a 2005 DL-1000 with a Madstad windshield bracket, but I will soon check to see if it fits my wife's 06 wee. I made a couple more (for learning experience) - they aren't beautiful but I just put 800 miles on my first one (after prototype) with a Garmin 2610 and no problem. No vibration - I was satisfied.

It's made with 1/8" X 1" steel flat bar. If I can find some 2 or 3" flat stock I may make the over dashboard piece out of that instead.I would not drill the holes in the over-dash piece so you can custom fit it to your mounting bracket.

Underside (won't be seen).

Mounted on madstad bracket bolts

With 2610 mounted (L bracket not included)

With windshield mounted

If you are interested in one - I will make it for free and ship it. However, I would like you to make a donation to this website for what you think is fair.

I am not going into production and may only make a couple more - as I learn to weld - but I really like welding so it could be several more in the next month or two if there is any interest.

I have two more ready to go - unpainted in case you want to change the over dash bend, and drill holes for you particular mount set-up.

Use at your own risk, no guarantees written or implied. Again not pretty but functional.
