LED Light Bar

I want to add more light to my 2011 Wee. I live in a relatively unpopulated area, and I spend a lot of time on long dark roads that have lots of deer, but not a ton of cars.

I do not care to be more visible to other drivers, but I want to see more than what my headlights illuminate. So I'm thinking about an LED light bar similar to this one: http://www.amazon.com/20-Power-LED-L...+led+light+bar

Maybe not that particular one, but you get the idea. I'm wanting to mount it on the front forks maybe?

Has anyone done something similar (pics would be great) or is there any reason why this is a bad idea? I'm not sure how much extra power our alternators have to spare. I'm not running anything else electronic except for a radar detector.

You may want to look at AdventureTech's auxiliary light kit. They are a vendor down below.

I've used these guy's LED Pods and they work great. I used to have them mounted to the fender mount bolts but may move them to some kind of bar mount under the fairing.

A 20 inch light bar would be too large for a Strom I think. I run a 22" on my Jeep's roof basket pictured below to give you an idea.
