Wiring Help

I have a question regarding the wiring harness that came with a set of aux. lights I am trying to install.

The attached is a picture of the wiring diagram. My issue is that is for a direct connection to the battery with a tap off the switch (green wire) going to a switched circuit on the bike.

However I have a switched PC8 already and would prefer to run the lights into it and not direct to the battery. How do I go about changing the circuit to do so? Is it just a case of running the green wire into the red positive battery wire (which will be going to the PC8, not the battery).

Cheers for any help

That will do it. You can take the fuses out of the circuit as they are going to a fused source but you can leave them in if you don't want to replace any wire.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s
