Bestem T-Box 929 with tail light wiring question

I bought this box but it has no instructions on the wiring part. I realize that it hooks into the tail/brake light wire, but can anyone tell me how hard it is to find that wire? Also what's the best way to splice into that wire(s)? Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Garage
Black with a white stripe - ground
White with a black stripe - brake light hot
gray* or brown** - tail light hot

There is wiring on the inside of the fender*
You can also slit the wiring loom cover to access the wiring on the left side of the under seat tray.**

A Posi-Tap or strip and solder is the best way to tap into the stock wiring. Or Eastern Beaver makes http://www.easternbeaver.com/Main/Bi...raketailsignal that plugs into the connectors at the rear of the bike between * and **. The connectors are easy to access on a Glee but the Wee and Vee really need to have the rear fender removed to access.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s
