Question Timing Retarder Eliminator for DL1000

Is anyone using on the Ivan's Performance Products TRE? According to their site, the TRE is a direct "plug in" installation and will disable the speed limiter and high RPM horsepower/timing retarder on the V-Strom. The claim is that the TRE improves gear changing in the first four gears and does not affect full throttle horsepower. Ivan's offers a lifetime replacement warranty on this electrical part. I would like to hear from anyone who is using this product.

Tried it and didn't feel any difference.

Pulling the secondaries accomplishes the same thing, at $0 and you get to keep the over drive indicator.
