Gps questions.......

Ok need some help... Did the searches, waded thru pages and pages of info, but want to make sure...

Need a gps that is easily uploadable with routes, decent size screen, either waterproof or still has waterproof accessories available, and preferably Bluetooth spoken commands to my scala g9, and doesn't cost an arm and a leg...

Have the possibility of a Nuvi 765t, but can't seem to find if, although it says it has Bluetooth, it can use the Bluetooth with my headset?

I know opinions are spread across the board on gps's, but I can't afford a zumo. Is there any other units that have the attributes listed above, and are affordable?

The new TomTom Rider has a list price of US$400 and includes maps of Canada.

Based on what a few users (DRROD) said here, over the winter, I bought a Nuvi 775 (765 with North American and Euro maps installed) and got it to pair up with my Sena SMH10R.

Haven't ridden with it yet but it worked to transmit a test audio book while running a simulated route and interrupted correctly for Turn Instructions.

I would think that the 765 would do the same for a Scala since bluetooth is supposed to be bluetooth. (At this point, some guy will start howling about the various versions of bluetooth).

What do you plan on using the GPS for ?

The bike specific ones will take you down bike friendly roads, the car type will try to take you back to major roads when ever possible, so if your planned route gets messed up the Rider or Zumo will take you down some great roads that you may miss with the Nuvi.

Of course if you only want to get from A to B the quickest way possible the cheaper units will work.
