No satellite radio, no traffic, no audio books, no mic input making my Autocom. Useless, no thanks.

If they had added the ability to control the gps with voice commands via bluetooth I would have considered it.

The voice recognition works great on my Garmin 3597 in my car. I'd love to have this functionality on the bike.

Being able to control the gps without touching it makes perfect sense for riders. I continue to be surprised that Garmin hasn't added this functionality to the zumo.

Smartphones can do this via bluetooth already.

I just picked up a TomTom Rider a couple of days ago. At $330 it is way cheaper than the Zumo - but I feel the Zumo is a much nicer gps. I am just not sure it is more than twice as nice...

I have the Zumo 350LM.
I'm a fan of Garmin, but I NEVER would have bought this if I had to pay for it (no, I didn't steal it, I got it as a gift from a vendor I did some work for). If I had to pay for it, wouldn't have happened.

The Zumo interface (at least on the 350) is a step backwards from the Nuvi versions. Less intuitive, more key presses (or touches), proprietary motorcycle power connect, and "feature repressed." That being said, I like Garmin, as I've always had good luck with it, however, they've become the BMW of GPS's...

Take a look at their Nuvi units. Not as "hardened" but a fraction of the cost.

I was going to get the Montanna, but by time I add maps, cradle and wiring I'm over $600 anyway.

i have the montana on my DR and the zumo 660 on the V. the montana screen is a bit on the small side to use well while riding. of course, the fact that i have it on a bike i ride almost entirely off-road may have something to do with that
