autocom repair

Hi,
I have an Autocom Super Pro AVi and the rider plug needs to be replaced. Most have a broken wire or short at the point the cable from the unit go's into the plug. When you move the cable you all kinds of vox noice even when the mic isn't connected and other static. Any know if you can buy the plug or a repair shop?
Thanks,

You can buy a new cable online from Rocketmoto.com in Hudson, NH.

And Art it's very easy to change that cable. Undo the screws in the unit and inside you will see the multi-pin plug. Take outtie old and snap in the new, put on the cover, do up the screws and you are good to go.

My Opinion:
Vee or V= DL1000 before 2014
Vee2 or V2 = DL1000 2015 to 2019
Vee3 or V3 = DL1050 2020 to?

My Stroms:
2006 DL650: 202,000 km 125,500 miles, Sold
2012 DL650 139,500+ km, 86,700+ miles. Sold
2015 DL1000 New July 2015 205,000+ km, 127,000+ miles.

This can help preventing from cars pulling out in front of you (SMIDSY)

Thanks Tom and Tom. They have the cable in stock. I took the unit apart and had a look. Look's simple.
