Could somebody give me input about the TomTom Rider?
I am not wanting to lay down $1000.00 for the Zumo.
I use the Autocom system/ 2watt Kenwood and the TomTom will work with that.

The original mounting brackets on the TomTom Rider were rubbish and resulted in many units falling onto the road. The new model uses RAM mounts so it should be okay.
Same with the original supplied Bluetooth headset. Now they supply Scala units which should solve that issue although you have your Autocom anyway.
The maps refresh and scroll much faster than the Zumo screens.
The unit is really only good for on road use. If you plan on going off road through forestry tracks and the like you will probably find it is of little or no use.
