I have stock springs and no fork brace, so I can't comment on that.

Thanks, and anyone else with those mods, please add in. I have the brace, was looking at the Scotts as well. An ounce of prevention...

Get a SuperBrace first, and a Scotts Steering Stabilizer right after.

They both do their own jobs, and will vastly improve your steering and control on your bike,

Check out the SuperBrace Group Buy thread under general discussion for the specials on these two items going on right now, where you will save even more than the ongoing offer, copied from the For Sale: post #1

A Big Thank You to Blair Layton!

I contacted him Monday afternoon regarding purchase of the "Scotts Steering Stabilizer". Received an immediate reply with the info needed to complete the transaction. Had an invoice from Paypal first thing Tuesday morning and received my merchandise Thursday afternoon. That's Customer Service! I'd say, if he's got it and you need it give him a try you won't be sorry!
Regards,

Blair, can you recommend handle bars who's position is comparable to your up and back risers and is compatible with the Scott's damper?

Hi Barry, Thanks for the prod, I am on this right now. I have been thinking about this myself, as I want the benefits of both for my bike as well,

I will be posting up, and let you know as soon as I do,

If I find a manufacturer I like, I will set up a dealer relation and offer them at the best price possible to all the Stromtroopers,

Any suggestions from any of our fellow Stromtroopers on Handle Bars that give the net effect of One up and One back on the Handle Bar riding position?

No Need for Handle Bar Riser Comments, or Recommendations on this thread please. Risers will not work with Scotts Stabilizers on the DL650 or the DL1000. They are Not Compatible.

Thanks for all your support, I appreciate it,

Enjoy the ride, and best regards,
Blair

That's the problem. They aren't.

I use the stock bars. The fit me just right. John Weldon at VSRI uses Pro Taper SE ATV high handlebars.
