Heavier rear spring for the Wee for passengers?

Hi folks. A couple people have mentioned elsewhere that someone my size should replace the rear shock spring with something heavier duty. I have a 2004 weestrom, I'm 6'6" and about 260lbs. The bike is comfortable and rides okay for me, but I'm sure i'm past the top end weight for that setup, and I occasionally have passengers (100-150lb).

So, what I need is a spring that'll accomodate my weight and have room left over (maybe after dialledin) for a passenger.

I have done very little motorcycle customiztion, so I don't even know if this is something I should even attempt on my own. I'm okay buying the parts and handing them to my mechanic, but I don't even know what part to get from where.

Help?

You should do the front as well if you're going to do the back to keep the suspension balanced. Race Tech has a spring calc on there site.
I'm 230 and it says to go to 1.0 for the front and 14.- for the rear, stock is 6.0 and 9.0
