Kenda big block..

I did a search and also looked thru countless threads and I can't find any info on the new Kenda big block!!.I'm thinking about running one on the front of my 07 V for a trip to Alaska in June.I was wondering what kinda of milage people are getting and how they handle compared to a TKC ( which I have used before ).

No personal use here, but I've read a lot about them on different sites trying to get a feel. I'm planning on buying a set next year to do the WABDR on because they are way less expensive compared to the tkcs or karoos.

From what I've read te mileage isn't supposed to great but figure since they are half the cost, then getting more than 50% as many miles would be a win.

If it's the write up I'm thinking of I'll have to find it, but someone at Touratech ride them on a GS 1200 and had only great things to say when compared to the tkcs. I believe he was setting up a OBDR ride?

Found it:

I just need it to last about 6,000 miles or so!!.But I guess I could run a street tire up thru Canada and then swap it out in a hotel parking lot for the rest of the trip !!.

Poke around on ADVrider, and you'll find tons of info -- from what I've seen, they work well but the mileage people have gotten out of these tires has been abysmal.

I'd pass.

From what I've read it seems that you should be able to get that much out if one.

There was quite a bit of discussion on ADVrider
