KYB & Showa pneumatic forks...

They are standard on some new dirt models so a mod can move it if its in the wrong place :-)

Realy simple design that was used in the 70's and as preload on most mountain bikes, heaps lighter and apparently been tested to the billeo.

Apparently as it is compressing air, apparently the stiction is 20% reduced too.....

Look mum no springs

I put Schrader valves in the fork caps on my '74 Bultaco Pursang to help the poor springs cope. I'm surprised it took Honda this long to utilize it on their new motocross bikes.

Yeah, mountain bikes have been using it for years, front and rear.
Team Pro Circuit are using them on there 450 MX bike with good results. Brock Tickle is the riders name.

Kawi was actually the manufacturer that started using it with KYB forks.
