Tire for Labrador Highway?

Are stock tires good enough for the Labrador Highway? I am still on my 2017 DL650ís original tires (Bridgestone Trail Wing I think, away from my bike currently). I want to do the Labrador Highway up from Quebec, back via Newfoundland and Nova Scotia next year, 2019. I keep reading that it gets paved more every year, and usually I enjoy gravel roads on my OEM tires reasonably well.

I have seen some pretty horrible muddy condition pictures from this road, but they may have been several years old as far as I know. But if there is active paving construction I wonder if one might hit a rough patch that could become too much of a challenge on 90/10 tires?
