I haven't studied the new Road 5, but would assume it would be just a little better version of the Pilot Road 4, being its successor. I have the PR4 on the Gixxus and they are quite popular with that crowd, as well as other even more sport-oriented bikes. It seems to be excellent for most everything (on pavement only) - highway, spirited twisty riding, rain, as well as the occasional track day. Actually better for the street than the Pilot Power tire, since the PP has to get quite heated up to unleash all of its performance capabilities. Unless you go off-road, I can't imagine where you would need more performance than a PR4 on a Strom. JMHO.
