a question about Nitron Shocks

Hello everyone

I have been wanting to upgrade my suspension and i have been noodling around the internet probably too much trying to figure out what i want or need.

There is a bewildering array of shocks front and rear and rebuilds and cartridges and emulators and and and

i would like to just call one of the guys that are recommended here but right now i am in Iraq working with MSF and i cannot call. i would like to have everything i need waiting for me to install when i get home in July as my time there is short.

the front is fairly easy a set of race tech emulator cartridges and some progressive springs but the rear........ after all kinds of research i am liking the Nitron shocks. but i have never really heard anyone mention them. They call themselves a racing shock company and that make me worry that they may not be appropriate for me and my riding.

if anyone know of this company and would like to comment that would be great. i will attach a link to the shock i like it is their basic R1 with a preload option.

Thank you in advance

Gordie

They have a good reputation here in the UK.
I've not had one myself but have ridden a friends' Honda a year or two back, with a Nitron shock and it felt lovely.

Funnily enough I have just bought a Nitron for my vstrom and it should be here later this week!

The shock arrived and is now fitted.
Fit, finish and build quality is absolutely superb and the preload adjuster is much easier to turn than the Suzuki item, I guess the damping adjuster won't be as easy to adjust and will probably mean oily hands.

I'll get back regarding how it rides after the weekend, which, lets face it is why we buy new shocks
