I really enjoyed the K60s on my previous GS, and I like to try different hoops, but for me, the Wilds were a poor fit ...particularly given I couldn't currently give them the dirt riding commitment they're probably more suited for.
The tip in of the Wilds was something different. Even the fella that sold and fitted them warned me to take the first corner with a lot of care. Glad he did. If he hadn't I'd have been looking for mechanical fault.
I guess being a radial construction v the more conventional cross-ply for 50-50 tyres contributes to that.
These are my first taste of the the E07s and they remind me a lot of the K60s, good dirt bite, awesome confidence in cornering, some inevitable hum, but nowhere near as bad as the Wilds (or Conti TKC80s I've had in the past) and as an added bonus, the Mitas are not as $pensive as any of the others.
Took them for a run to the bush this arvo through about 20kms of dirt roads, and a few kms of some nasty rutted bush (dry black-soil) tracks. Then sat happily on 130km/h on the blacktop for the run home. They felt real good.
