Looking for new shoes for my V

Hi everybody!

I'm looking for new tires from my 2015 Vstrom 650.
I don't ride off road so I prefer 100% asphalt tiers. I like to ride aggressively and grip is important to me.

Thank you!~

Welcome to the site. The usual suggestion is to hit the little search box in the upper right hand corner and search for "THE tire thread". It's 81 pages of goodness on tires. There is an index on the first page to different types of tires (on road, off road, etc.).

Heres the link to the last page if you want to read the most current first.

Michelin Pilot Road 4 are probably the best in the rain. Bridgestone Battleax T30 EVO are very good, cost less. The choices from Continental ContiRoadAttack2 Evo, Avon Storm 3D X-M (great reviews at Motorcycle Superstore), probably others, are all good. I don't think ChemChina (Pirelli-Metzeler) has a road tire to fit our stroms.

I have never purchased a set of street motorcycle tires and had an issue with handling. I scrape pegs on the stock Trail Wings so even they're great tires. When my TW retired I replaced them with Bridgestone Battlax T30's on my 650. Never one issue.
