Spoked Rims from Suzuki

Anyone know if the optional spoked rims Suzuki is now offering on the new V-Stroms will fit a 2008 DL-650?

Not sure if they will fit, but I bet they will be expensive. Why not try aftermarket:

Down at the bottom of the page. Prices start at $1,600.

I don't see the point, unless you're riding single track, in which case, you're on the wrong bike. The stock cast-alloy wheels work fine for gravel roads, better to put your money into better shocks and fork upgrades.

I ordered the spoked rims for my '13 650 well over two months ago from procycle.

STILL waiting for them to get it right. Seems like nobody at ProCycle or the RAD place that makes the hubs realized that Suzuki significantly changed the front hub around 2012. So, while the wheels I got from ProCycle sure are cool looking, the rear wheel has no place for the ABS sensor disc and the front hub just doesn't fit--brake rotors don't even come close to mounting and no place to mount the ABS sensor disc.

At first ProCycle and RAD seemed to be playing dumb--"Gee, we've never had this problem before." I think they've never had the problem before because I was the first (sucker) to order spoked wheels for a '13 DL650: five minutes online looking at schematics and five seconds looking at my buddies '07 DL650 and I discovered for myself the major differences in wheels as the model years changed.

So, now, over 2 months after ordering the wheels from ProCycle, my beloved v strom, which happens to be the only transportation I own, has been sitting up on blocks. Had to ship the stock wheels and new, mis-fit wheels to RAD (they paid for shipping) to they could make new hubs based on my old, stock wheels.

The dudes at ProCycle seem cool enough (though steadfastly refused to consider a refund, even though what they sent me is not what they advertise on their website, and I contacted them BEFORE ordering to make sure the wheels would work) and have been very good about responding to my emails. The guys at RAD? Not so much...
