Shinko 700s Anyone???

I'm looking for more dirt oriented tires for an upcoming trip on my '13 Wee. In the past I've had great luck with Shinko tires, ran the 244s on my DR650. I'm wondering about the 700 series for the Strom. Shinko 700 Series Dual Sport Rear Tire - Motorcycle Superstore

For most of what I expect to be on the Trail Wings will probably be fine. However, looking at the tread, they have me in fear of seeing any mud! I'd like something more dirt oriented and would give up some on road performance, as long as life is still decent.

They have a 5.10/17 rear tubless that should fit, and they have good reviews. I'm not sure how heavy a bike they are meant for though. Best of all-they are cheap!

Anyone have any experience with them? Thanks.

Garage
Get the 705's, they are excellent and very popular on the Stroms.

There isn't a correct size in the 700, the 705 on the rear will chew through mud

The 700 is a tube-only tire.

And, as mentioned above, it's not available in a compatible size anyway. 5.10-17 works out to something around a 130/90-17, which is meant for much skinnier rims.

I wouldn't be shocked if the load rating also wasn't in the right ballpark.
