3 holes in bottom shock mount...

there are 3 sets of holes in the bottom shock mount on the frame on my vee... the shock linkage is in the middle ones... i can't find anywhere anything about moving the lower linkage to a different hole to change the suspension geometry...

are these holes for adjusting the suspension? they seem to be threaded on both sides...

it seems like going into the bottom holes would lift the bike a bit...

has anyone messed with these?

You may have adjustable links, an aftermarket thing. They let you adjust the bike height.
It would help to have a center stand.

DO NOT MOVE THE SHOCK TO A CENTER STAND MOUNTING HOLE. A one inch change in the shock mount means close to three inches at the wheel. Even if there is clearance at the frame to do it, the tire will hit the fender on bumps, causing this.

The pic was from VSRI not here. Here's another from Raising + Lowering Links--Review, Installation and Pics
