Can DR650 Intiminators be used in DL650?

Help, please.
I ordered some Ricor Intiminators and began to disassemble things to install on my 07 Wee. I noted that the package says for DR650, not DL650. I have not been able to get through to Ricor for an answer. I am leaving on a trip in couple days and need to put the bike back together with or without the Intiminators. If they are set up identical or close enough, I will use them. If different, do you know what the difference is? I'm putting stiffer springs in the forks too. I am a big guy carrying a load, if that makes a difference.
I need to decide by tomorrow.
Thanks for any help.

If all of the following were true, should be close enough.

1) google and check fork tube is the same size, AND

2) check the shim setting printed on the lables - 0.012(thickness in inch) x 5(shims), i believe is the lastest setting and should be correct. If it's not that, do a calculation- raise each thickness to the power of 3 and add all together.
EG ( 0.012x0.012x0.012 ) x5 =0.00000864. A figure within 20% of that should be ok to try.

Thanks.
Problem is I can't find the shim numbers for the DL650 anywhere. They don't show the shim numbers on their site, and I can't find them on anyone else's either... they just show the model number, not the shim number. I'd need a label on a package for a DL650 I guess. The DR label shows 2 x .012 plus 1 x .015
Anyone know the standard shim stack for the Wee?

Someone who bought a recent (in the last 18 months) set of Intiminator can confirm for you.

think 5 x 0.012 for DL650 is the latest setting (which also works well enough as a starting point), your label gives you a rate of 0.000006831, about 79% of current Ricor setting - think they are both 43mm in diameter -So if you use DR650, it would be a little softer than Ricor intended, but i think you can certainly try it.

Note Ricor's testing are all done with Amsoil 5wt oil, which has a viscosity rating of 15.7Cst @40c- when looking for fork oil to replace, find one with similar rating, or perhaps slightly higher (rating number higher) to account for a slightly softer shim setting. I use Silkolene Pro RSF 2.5wt, which is rated @40c of 13.6 and mix a bit of 5wt to achieve the same viscosity rating .

Again, thanks for the help, Ace.
I have Motul Light which is 18.3 @ 40 degrees. So that sounds about right in the scenario you've explained. That would make me a little softer due to the shim setup and a little stiffer via oil viscosity, if I understand you correctly. Worth a try.
Would still love to have someone read the label on a set for the Wee.
And yes, they are both 43mm.

I'll be back in my garage on Wednesday evening....I think I still have that box for my 2012 DL650 Intiminators. If I do, I'll be happy to look at the label.

DL 650, stock shim stack is now 5x0.012.

Forks are the same size as the DR 650 so good there. Which is why if you want more travel, dropping DR 650 uppers into DL lowers is an option.

Motul 5w seemed a bit heavy to me, I used castrol 5W originally which is lighter.
I just gave my forks a clean and new oil this weekend - but the shock will feel more compliant after a couple of 100k's and the extra shim should help with that as well.

There's a reasonable range where the suspension works well, and a lot comes down to how it feels to you rather than what gives maximum performance.
