Greetings from Oklahoma

I just purchased a 2015 650XT. I'm liking it pretty well so far, it seems to handle fairly well and is much lighter than the Yamaha FJR1300 it will be replacing. Nowhere near the power though! I need to work on the buffeting issue, it's a little distracting.

Hola, where in OK?
On that buffeting, the older Wee's folks got mirror extenders or bought other mirrors, Later bikes there are fairing winglets that seem to help.
Google 'buffeting' in the little box at the top of the page and see if your solution is there.

Welcome! I'm in central OKC, whereabouts are you?

On the buffeting, I went to a Cee Baileys windscreen and that helped a lot.

I'm in Coweta, just SE of Tulsa.

I have a Cee Baileys on the FJR, it's a great windshield on that bike. I understand that Cee Bailey is out of the MC windshield business now, only aircraft windshields.

Welcome!

There's hundreds of pages on buffeting. For me, a Givi AF, Augustus deflectors, mirror extenders, and aerodynamic SFV mirrors solved it.

Now I need to work on my new DL1000 buffeting... that beak pulls in some weird air.

Two wheelz for realz!
