Howdy from the SF Bay Area 07' DL650

Hey everybody.
Picked this guy up on Saturday then took it home, packed and went to visit a friend 200 miles away for the weekend. I'm coming from under powered bikes and really am enjoying this one! I wasn't expecting this out of the bike, but I was looking for a lighter beginner friendly adventure bike and this pretty much checked off all the boxes including the price!

I look forward to new adventures on this bike and chatting with you all!

Welcome Joey and congrats on your new ride. I grew up in the East Bay, lots of good riding in Norcal!

Welcome to the Forum. Congrats on your K7 Wee. May I suggest that you invest in a skid plate plus an engine guard / crash bars. The temptation for a little off-road will call once the bug bites. Enjoy the adventure. Ride safe.
