Great bike, great site, thumbs up

Bought a 2015 V-Strom 1000 ABS ADV, in used condition with ~3,000 miles, a few months ago for street touring. So far, it's been a great bike. I'm tall, so I'll need to make some mods to account for that, over time. I'm interested in tall, flat seat. I'm also interested in buying a dealer brochure in paper form for the bike. I have an old KLR for forest roads. I have the paper brochure for that bike, and I'd like a matching one for the V-Strom, and start making that a tradition for each bike I own. Here is a pic of me taking my elderly father for a ride on the V-Strom. His first motorcycle ride ever. You can see the big smile on his face. I had a big smile too (you just can't see it), knowing how happy a ride on this bike made him. God bless, ride safe, glad to be here.

Welcome to the forum. Iíve been here 3 years. The folks here are as decent in person as they are here. If you can make it, I encourage you to go to one of the regional rides.

Welcome to the Forum. Looking at your pix, your leg position looks a bit cramped. I suggest that you look at investing in a foot peg lowering kit, https://www.stromtrooper.com/adventu...ering-kit.html

I encourage you to fill in some of your background information. It helps with questions and support. Sometimes is help is just a few blocks away or in the next little town.

The members here do a pretty good job of self policing and are generally very helpful. We have a pet jester or two, but most people just want to be the first guy to help.

Thanks, I will look into it. I installed a foot peg lowering kit on my KLR and it is a big improvement.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll take a look at doing so.
