Welcome! Glad you finally made the decision. I did kind of the same thing. Kept looking at V-Stroms for years. Never rode one, just kept looking and thinking "that's probably a great all around bike." I read a hundred road tests over the years (well, it seemed like a hundred). I kept hesitating. Every time a great deal on a used one caught my attention I'd think about it, and ponder it, until the bike sold to someone else. Then I'd tell myself I missed out on a great deal.

Finally my partner said "You're 61 years old. How many more new bikes do you think you'll buy in your lifetime? Go get one now." So I did. I'm enjoying the heck out of it. Hope you do too.

you have a wise partner! I traded 2 bikes into the vstrom and I'm hoping the vstrom can do what 3 or 4 bikes do? Can't wait , maybe this week they will deliver it.
