Wink Welcome to the forum

Great looking bike that you will not regret buying. For those of us that were looking for something else and came across a great deal because these bikes are under-appreciated. I got my 2016 650 with 8,000 miles for $4,800 and felt like i won the lottery, no regrets ! Hope you enjoy yours, happy trails!

They are very much under-appreciated. It’s probably market dependent, my market is Harley’s and sport bikes. Very few in between. I also almost bought a DR350 right after, just based on price, that I was going to gift to my dad. It sold in 10 minutes and my email was 5 minutes late. I’ve bought new motorcycles, I’ve overpaid to get bikes, cars, boats, guns, etc that I’ve wanted at the time. Patients not one of my virtues usually, but in a larger market area it can pay off. Ive got contact with a guy that has some Givi E21s right now, I wanted the 22s for the shape and thicker molding, but if the price is right I’ll be on it. Gloss, flat I’ll make them work and be happy. I’ll never regret buying this bike and will likely keep it even if I decide I want something more “specialized” to a task. It’s just to good at everything to let go. I rip it and it just goes. I lug it and it just goes. It’s the most comfortable bike I’ve ever ridden. It’s heavy and awkward moving around when not running but it’s like putting the key in it reduces the weight by a couple hundred lbs.

Thanks! Ya a lot of good write-ups and info on here. While these bikes historically seem pretty reliable, its always helpful to have a community with knowledge of them for things that go wrong above and beyond routine maintenance. I have a Toyota 4Runner for my other transport and there is a really good forum for that as well with tons of info that has pretty much enabled me to take carry of the few minor issues that have cropped up over the last 10 years or so with it..
