2006 Suzuki V-Strom 650
New V-Strom rider!
Hi, I'm a new V-Strom 650 rider! I am back into motorcycling after a LONG absence, having ridden trail bikes in my youth. Now I am nearly 50 yo - got my licence in 2018 and had a Ninja 300 for my first season. This year I've sold the Ninja and got a 2006 V-strom 650 and look forward to getting to know the bike and getting out for some adventures.
My bike has a few mods that were done before it came to me: Pro Taper bar, heated grips, electronic cruise control (from a car apparently) and a cig lighter. Some other upgrades: crash bars, skid plate, rad guard, Givi bags and top case. Shinko 705 tires. So it's nicely equipped for this newbie to start adventuring.
I'm looking forward to this new world and learning/contributing within this forum!

Congrats, nice bike. Same saddlebags as mine. These are awesome bikes, great for most any kind of riding you'd want to do.
